Dr. Abdurrahman Comlekci

Professor in Endocrinology, Dokuz Eylul University, Turkey

Dr Abdurrahman Comlekci completed Ege University Medical Faculty  in 1990 and started residency program of Department of Internal Medicine, in Dokuz Eylul University in the same year. In 1996, he became  an Internal Medicine Specialist and in 1999 he completed his fellowship program in Endocrinology in the same institution in Division of Endocrinology.  He continued working in the same clinic as Assistant Professor until 2004. In 2004 he became Associate Professor, and since 2009 he is working as a Professor in Endocrinology in the same clinic.

New drug development in the field of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular complications of diabetes and adrenal and pituitary diseases are his professional interests.

He is a member of the Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism of Turkey (SEMT), American Diabetes Association, The Endocrine Society (USA), Society for Endocrinology (UK).
